France's elections have just come to an end, but have they? Well, the elections are over but we don't know who's in power, so what will happen now? How does the French system work? How is it different from the American or British systems? And the big question on everybody's: Will the far right take more power or will the far left? What are the policies of each party? How can they coexist with the EU? The world? What about their views on China? This is arguably the most important election in decades for France and it affects all of Europe and the world!

With the parliamentary election finished, none of the three leading parties have a majority. Until they can negotiate a joint government, they're basically in a deadlock and nobody's in charge. The three major players are the far right, the far left and the Macron party. The first two, as their names suggest, are polar opposites. So how will they all play each other? But is it that simple? Of course not! How long could it take? That's unclear. Is there a backup system? There are a few.

This election is chaotic, highly divisive, and absolutely fascinating. Let's learn about it and discuss and have an intelligent and important discussion about the state of France!
